If you have already found your favorite ice cream (or gelato) shop, you are a lucky person! You always know where to go for a cup or cone of pure happiness (isn't it obvious that I love ice cream?). But this list is for those who are new to the city or want to try something different.
In this post, I will intentionally share a few ice cream shops that can be called chains. And there are several reasons for this. First of all, I like them. Second, you probably have one of these stores near where you live, study, work, or hang out on the weekends. That way you'll know what to expect and can tell me if I'm right or wrong (follow me on Instagram and let me know what you think!).
Amorino
Among other chains, my favorite is Amorino because they have incredible citrus sorbets. Mmm, bergamot.
- The ice cream there is not too sweet - it's just what you need.
- They have both creamy and vegan options - classic ice cream and sorbets.
- They can make a cone in the form of rose. Because why not?
- They also have macarons and chocolates, I haven't tried them yet, but my friends like them.
It's funny, this brand was founded by two Italians, but the first store was opened in Paris. They are now a large chain with many franchise locations, so I wouldn't say their shops are cozy, but the ice cream is still very good.
What do we have here?
- Seasonal "Nougat" an "White Chocolate and Blueberry"
- Same + "Mint with chocolate chips"
- "Chocolate", "Tiramisu" and "Mango Alphonso"
Snowflake
London doesn't have as many Snowflake shops as Amorino's, but I think their gelato is pretty good. It's delicious and not just blindly sweet. Plus, their stores are beautiful and stylish, and they serve not only ice cream, but also baked goods, ice cream drinks like milkshake or affogato, and other gelato goods.
The photo shows the following ice cream flavors:
- Strawberry Cheesecake
- Snowflake - secret recipe but I felt coconut and something like white chocolate
